Accommodation

We are paying for two nights of your accommodation in gratitude for you making it to our wedding. We have rented four cabins for the two nights of our wedding, all of which are very near the Event Centre where we’ll be holding the after wedding shindigs.

We know that some of you will want to arrive early, or stay later than our two wedding days so they can do the spectacular hikes, cycle trails or indeed mountain climbs! If you would like to extend your stay in Yosemite in one of these cabins, or any other cabin with Redwoods, let us know as they may offer a discount if you book through us.

1: 34 Grandma’s Cabin [3 bedrooms]

Grandma’s Cabin is a 3 bedroom and 2 bath home that can sleep 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher. The living room has a fireplace (firewood provided in season), new living room furniture & large flat screen Satellite TV, DVD, VCR, and U-Verse WiFi. You’ll enjoy grilling on the gas BBQ and eating on the spacious, redwood deck (rebuilt in April 2013) as you take in the surrounding forest.

2: 66 Grizzly Giant [4 bedrooms]

Grizzly Giant is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath home that can sleep up to 10 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, including a Wolf Range with center griddle, refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, all cooking and eating utensils, garbage disposal, and a dishwasher. The living room has a flat screen satellite TV, DVD & VHS players, WIFI, Central Air Conditioning, and fireplace (wood provided in season). Over 50 recessed lights and over 20 tons of natural stone! Both master suites have Whirlpool tubs and one has a gas fireplace. The private deck has a large, built-in BBQ and an 11 foot beautiful picnic table for outdoor grilling and dining. No smoking, No pets.

3: 67 El Capitan [4 bedrooms]

El Capitan Yosemite’s Splendor (featured in Log Home Living magazine)! This spacious, Platinum rated, 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom home has become one of our most popular luxury vacation homes. El Capitan sleeps up to 14 guests and has added amenities such as Whirlpool tubs in 2 of the bathrooms, and gas fireplaces in 2 of the master suites. There are large, flat screened TV’s in the Great Room and in all of the bedrooms. Handcrafted log ceilings and walls, carved archways, log posts, a log staircase, and carved animals complete the mountain feel. Each bedroom has it’s own detailed theme. All bathroom amenities are upgraded. The home has a washer and dryer, WiFi, and a large rock fireplace (firewood provided in season). The kitchen boasts a 48” American Gas Range with center griddle and 2 ovens, a sub zero, side by side refrigerator/freezer large enough to accommodate party trays, a dishwasher, and a granite topped serving island, (caterers love this kitchen)! The dining area has a copper topped dining room table that seats 12. The beautiful, private deck has a very large picnic table and a built in gas grill. The entrance and downstairs are wheelchair accessible. We call this the “Oh My Gosh” home! No smoking, No pets.

4: 69 Bordentown West [3 bedrooms]

Bordentown West, a handicap friendly home, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and can sleep up to 10 people. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a garbage disposal and dishwasher. The living room has a woodstove (firewood provided in season), large flat screen TV, Directv service, DVD, VCR, books, puzzles, board games, WiFi, and Central Air Conditioning and Heating. There is a gas BBQ on the large wrap around 1062 square foot deck, along with a picnic table and lounge chairs. Great for small family gatherings or weddings (20-25) There is also a ramp for a wheelchair on West Side of cabin. The master bedroom & master bathroom are equipped to accommodate a person requiring wheelchair access.

5: 2A The Terry Cabin [4 bedrooms]

The Terry Cabin is one of our largest square footage homes (2,000 Sq.Ft.) with 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms. The home sleeps up to 10 guests and has central air conditioning. The living room area has a beautiful stone fireplace (firewood provided in season), and opens adjacent to a very large kitchen with granite counter tops, double ovens, a dishwasher, and a 5 burner counter top range. Amenities include two multimedia centers, satellite TV, Wifi and CD players. The upstairs loft has a sleeper sofa, a Foosball table, a 32” flat screen satellite TV, and a small desk for lap top use. Enjoy a family BBQ on the large wraparound deck which opens up to a huge large back yard. Enjoy a puzzle or a book by the fire as you watch the snow fall or deer stroll by and through the floor-to-ceiling windows. This is a great cabin for a gathering of friends and family!
